This three-dimensional invitation design was made for an event at the Eames Case Study House celebrating their legacy as designers. The house was built from pre-fabricated, post-WW2 materials, mostly consisting of squares and right triangles. These shapes rigid shapes drove the decisions for the form factor of the invitation. Upon arrival, the recipient can prop up the invite in a 3D form in anticipation of the event, and then when the event comes around the ticket can be torn off to be taken with the user.
